Velvet Cocoa is crafted in Dehua, Fujian—the thousand-year capital of Blanc de Chine porcelain and a misted highland known for exceptional red tea.
Beneath these mountains lies Dehua’s rare treasure: mineral-rich kaolin, the “white gold” that gives Blanc de Chine its smooth, jade-like glow. Over centuries, this kaolin has weathered into the region’s granite soil, creating a loose, porous, and mineral-dense earth enriched with potassium, silicon, and magnesium.
This unique soil structure offers both excellent drainage and balanced nourishment—a naturally woven foundation that allows our high-altitude tea gardens to thrive, shaping the deep, comforting character of Velvet Cocoa.
