High Mountain LongJing comes from Pan’an, Zhejiang—a highland tea village set within the Dapan Mountain Range, where forests, rivers, and mist shape a landscape long favored by tea.
At nearly 800 meters in elevation, the tea gardens lie among pristine forests with over 80% coverage, and more than 200 misty days each year. Cool temperatures, strong diffuse light, and wide day-night contrasts slow the growth of the tea plants, allowing amino acids and natural sugars to accumulate. Terraced steep slopes encourage deep root systems and thicker, more resilient leaves.
Grown without chemical pesticides and nourished entirely by this high-mountain ecology, the fresh leaves show a vibrant green color and carry a delicate, persistent fragrance touched with subtle orchid-like freshness.
These natural conditions give High Mountain LongJing its clean beany note, soft chestnut warmth, and gentle sugarcane sweetness.
